HOW
No predetermined answers. No corporate runaround.
Every situation is different. I start by listening, asking questions and understanding what's actually happening. Then I research, evaluate and identify practical options.
-
Listen: Understand the people, business and objectives.
-
Investigate: Gather information, examine the circumstances and identify opportunities.
-
Evaluate: Determine what's viable, what's missing and what needs attention.
-
Recommend: Present realistic options and a practical path forward.
-
Engage: Work with the client on an agreed scope, whether that's research, consulting, development or implementation.
How It Works
1. Let's Talk — Free Initial Phone Consultation
Every situation is different. Start with a complimentary 15–20 minute conversation to discuss your business, property, challenge, or opportunity.
2. Define the Assignment
I'll evaluate your needs and outline a recommended approach, scope of work, deliverables, estimated timeline, and transparent pricing.
3. Agree & Get to Work
Once we've agreed on the scope and terms, we'll formalize the engagement and get started.
No pressure. No predetermined packages. Just an honest conversation about what you're trying to accomplish and how I might help.
DEAL
Seeing potential where others see problems.
Not every opportunity is listed, advertised or immediately obvious. I look for overlooked businesses, distressed assets, undervalued properties, operational inefficiencies and situations where the right people or resources could create something worthwhile.
Areas of interest include:
-
Distressed Real Estate & Acquisition Opportunities
-
Small Business Acquisitions & Turnarounds
-
Deal Sourcing & Preliminary Due Diligence
-
Market & Competitive Intelligence
-
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
Sometimes the answer is an improvement. Sometimes it's a partnership, a buyer, a new direction or recognizing that a deal doesn't make sense. The objective is to find out.
ABOUT
Kevin O'Sullivan
Business Insight. Blue-Collar Instinct. Independent Thinking.
_edited_edited_edited_edite.jpg)
I'm Kevin O'Sullivan, an independent entrepreneur with a hands-on background in operations, business development, buying and selling, and problem-solving.
My experience wasn't built exclusively behind a desk. I spent two decades in commercial fishing and have pursued independent ventures across several industries:
-
UPCYCLE SURPLUS — Buying & selling industrial surplus.
-
FALSE FLAG TOUR SUPPORT — Freelance tour manager.
-
ILL CRIMINE PAGA — NBMA themed printed apparel.
-
SHANTY SOCIETY — Creative work and graphic design.
-
BRRRR WORKS — Distressed real estate investing.
Across different industries, I've developed the same instincts: resourcefulness, independent thinking, curiosity, and an ability to recognize potential where others might see obstacles.
At my core, I'm an autodidact, polymath, and serial researcher. I enjoy digging into how things work, challenging conventional assumptions, identifying inefficiencies, and finding ways to make businesses and opportunities more valuable.
I bring that perspective to other people's businesses, assets, and ventures across small businesses in various industries.
I'm not here to sell a predetermined formula or generic consulting playbook.
I'm interested in understanding the situation, finding overlooked possibilities, connecting the dots, and helping make things happen.
Sometimes all it takes is a different perspective, a little digging, and someone willing to think outside the box.
I QUESTION THE PROBLEM ITSELF.
I dig beneath the surface, challenge assumptions, and uncover underlying faults.

Consultations & In-Person Meetings
Initial Consultation — Complimentary
Lets start with a free phone conversation to discuss your situation, objectives, and potential needs.
Phone conversations and in-person meetings are my standard methods of communication.
Video conferencing generally isn't my thing!!!
I prefer talking with people rather than talking to screens. I find phone conversations allow me to concentrate, listen, and engage without unnecessary visual distractions. When discussing complicated, sensitive, or uncomfortable business matters, I'd rather have a genuine conversation than another virtual meeting. I'm direct, approachable, and always willing to talk.
Local In-Person Meetings
In-person meetings within the New Bedford area may be arranged by appointment following an initial phone consultation, acceptance of a written service agreement, and receipt of the required deposit. Meetings are intended to support active client assignments, project discussions, research findings, and ongoing business matters.
Meeting locations and scheduling will be coordinated in advance. Additional travel or meeting-related expenses, if applicable, will be disclosed and agreed upon beforehand.
Out-of-Area & National Travel
Commercial Fixer Services accepts assignments beyond the local area, including nationwide projects. Travel outside the New Bedford service area is billed separately to the client.
Transportation, lodging, meals, and other reasonable travel-related expenses are the client's responsibility. Travel arrangements, estimated expenses, and any applicable travel fees will be agreed upon in advance.
No travel commitments or expenses are incurred without prior client approval.
